Summer Will Soon Be Here

The weather is definitely warming up and I have been asked by many parents about what their children are allowed to wear in school during the summer months.  I would really like to get your views on what you think would be most suitable for your child and invite you to a very short meeting to discuss and make a decision together next Tuesday (24th April) at 9am, 3pm and 5.30pm.  If you cannot make those times, please email or pop into the office (admin@cp.ebor.academy) and I will give you a ring to get your views.

This term we would like to be outside as much as possible but want to make sure our children are safe in the sun.  To protect children from the sun, please can they bring in a summer hat (named) to wear during break times to protect them from the sun.  If it is really sunny, please could you also apply sun cream before they come to school and bring in a labelled sun cream for them to apply at lunch time.  Unfortunately we cannot apply the cream but will be on hand to help children if needed.

Most children bring water bottles in to school and they can fill up their bottles with cool water in school.  If you would like to purchase a bottle with our Camblesforth logo from school for your child, these can be purchased for £2 from the office.  Please can children only bring plain water in bottles for during the day; fruit squash/juice can be brought in packed lunch boxes for drinking with lunch.
