Robinwood Residential

Last week our Year 6 children Miss Lord, Mrs Ruddle and Mrs Fletcher, spent three days at Robinwood  Activity Centre in Todmorden, Lancashire.  Throughout the stay, the children really challenged themselves and worked hard as a team, taking part in loads of activities including trapeze, crate building challenge, climbing wall, night line and archery.  There were lots of problem solving activities and the piranha pool was particularly challenging with so many codes and riddles to solve.

The outdoor trip up to Orchan Rocks was a highlight for lots of the children, challenging themselves to wriggle through small holes in the piles of natural boulders.  They also used their detective skills and teamwork during the ‘Alien Conspiracy’ challenge, taking them on a long walk on the moors above the centre.

Everyone had a great time and were tired out by the end.  The bus was definitely much quieter on the way home!
