We have had a great start to our summer term with a visit from an athlete, Julianna Laurinyecz Kovacs, who has represented Hungary at an international level. She spent the afternoon with all classes working on aerobic routines which all children really enjoyed and took part with great enthusiasm! The afternoon finished with an assembly where she talked about how hard she trains and how it is so important not to give up. She then showed some of her many medals and all children had chance to have a close look at them.
So a great start to our term! Be warned… the children may be showing you what they learned today!
Thank you also to everyone for raising money for ‘Sports for Champions’ athletics. We raised over £500 which is a great achievement.
