PTFA

Welcome to your Parents, Teachers & Friends Association

Camblesforth Academy’s PTFA is an integral part of the school community. Throughout the year we organise a wide range of events from Christmas and Summer Fairs to our Discos and also Bingo and Race Nights.

The PTFA helps provide for and supports the school through the purchase of equipment to help our children’s learning, supports new, responsible and exciting roles for the children, plus much more. We also bring a little fun along the way too!

It is run entirely on volunteers and we are always looking for new members, There is no pressure even if you can spare just a few hours to help at events you are all welcome. We can never have too many volunteers!

Our meetings are informal and involve tea and cake! Usually held every term. Discuss fundraising initiatives and organise future events.

It’s also a fantastic way to meet fellow parents/carers and become part of the schools community. It’s also an opportunity to help your child/children’s education and more importantly School experience just that little bit more than we already do.

We always need new and exciting ideas. We look forward to welcoming new members.

Note from Headteacher:

As I am sure you are aware, school budgets have been reduced so the PTFA’s fundraising is invaluable in donating extra resources for school to give our children the best education.  Because of their fundraising school has new dictionaries, thesaurus and ‘Mighty Writers’ which have benefited every child.  They have also recently purchased new reading material for every class. Thank you to everyone on the PTFA who has given up their time to support school.
