I’m Suzanne Perkins and I support a child in Year 4. I am also the positive play co-ordinator which includes organising fun activities at playtimes. I’ve been part of the Camblesforth family for nearly 3 years now and I love every minute. When I am not in school I enjoy acting and singing in my village pantomimes. I also like to read, draw and learn new crafts.

Marshall, Helen

My name is Helen Marshall. I am currently working with children in Miss Scott’s and Mrs Hunter’s classes on a Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am a teaching assistant working primarily with a pupil in Year 3. I am also studying a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies. I have completed the first two years of a three year course.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy long walks with my dogs and going to the cinema. I am also part of the Parent Teacher Association and I help to arrange different events for the children and raise money for the school.

My name is Emily Calvert. I joined the team at Camblesforth in September of 2015 as an apprentice teaching assistant. I have now completed my qualification and am working as a Teaching Assistant in Year 2/3. The children within my class and across the school are all very enthusiastic and prepared to learn which makes my job very rewarding. Each day I spend at Camblesforth is different from another which makes my job very enjoyable. Previously I have studied at Selby College and achieved A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and IT. Within my spare time I enjoy eating out, meeting up with friends and going to the cinema.

My name is Mrs Kym Taylor. My current role at Camblesforth School is Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). I am responsible for the day to day management of the Nurture Room. I also work across the school providing cover for PPA.

I also run breakfast club with Miss Rowbotham. I enjoy reading, photography and spending time with my family and friends.

Rowbotham, Kate

My name is Kate Rowbotham. I joined the team at Camblesforth in 2014 and since then have enjoyed many positive experiences such as going to Robinwood. I have many roles in School which include working in the office and supporting children at lunchtime. I also run the breakfast club with Mrs Taylor, as well as being a teaching assistant. After graduating from Winchester University I have enjoyed sharing my skills of dance and arts with the children at school and thoroughly enjoy making a difference in the roles I do.

My name is Kirsty Barker and I work with children in the Foundation/Year One class. I thoroughly enjoy working at Camblesforth Community Primary School. I have two daughters who I love spending time with. When I do get some spare time, I like to go to the cinema and catch up with my friends. I also enjoy running. I run the race for life every year.

Hello, my name is Miss Allinson and I joined Camblesforth in March this year. I am currently the teaching assistant in Year 5 / 6, I am also a mid-day supervisor.

I like to go swimming, read, go for walks and see friends.
