What A Harvest Festival Celebration!

On Friday we had our Harvest Festival celebration.  Our theme this year was ‘What’s for Tea?’ and classes presented different ideas.  Humber Class shared what a Viking would have for tea and made Viking food for us all to taste afterwards – some tasted better than others!  Foss shared information about different fruits and shared collages of fruits they had worked on as a team during the week.  Derwent class shared how to make bread and acted it out brilliantly and Nidd class shared what their favourite food was.  Afterwards everyone who came to share our festival with us stayed for bread tasting in each class.  So, a great Harvest Festival!  Thank you to everyone who was able to join us and also for donations towards the bread tasting.  This year we also collected tinned and dried food for the Selby foodbank which we are sure will be gratefully received so thank you to everyone who donated as well.
