Who works in our team?

Our teacher is Mrs Eckley and our Assistant Teachers are Mrs Parsonage & Mrs Sleeman.

What happens when?

We have PE on Monday and Tuesday. Children bring their PE kits on Monday and leave them in school for the remainder of the week.

We have a wide range of lessons during the week. Each day we always have Maths, Reading and Writing. Additionally, we have weekly music lessons with Mrs Oldfield and RE/PSHE with Miss Cawthorn.

Further to this, our Wider Curriculum afternoons cover the breadth of the foundation curriculum such as Science, History, Geography, Design and Technology, Art, PSHE and Computing.

We practise our handwriting and basic maths skills each day.

Our weekly spellings are set on a Monday and the children are tested on these the Monday after. The list of spellings we are learning for the week will be in your child’s planner and sent to you via ParentHub as part of a Weekly Update.

Homework: children are expected to practise spellings; maths basics and read to an adult at home each day. Year 6 may, on occasion, be given homework in addition to this.
