Nidd Class What’s Happening This Week Commencing 26th February 2018

Literacy

This week we are continuing to read Monkey Puzzle.  We are going to write our own versions of the story.  We will be looking at life cycles of different animals and matching mummies to their babies.

Numeracy

In Reception maths we are learning to sequence the numbers to 20 as well as continuing to recognise the numerals to 20.

In Year 1 we are continuing to find out about numbers to 100.  We are going to be using our knowledge to solve some additive facts of numbers.
We will also be looking at the properties of 2d and 3d shapes.

Phonics

Our phonic sounds this week
