Welcome back

Dear All,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are now ready to settle back into the new academic year. The children have come back to school today with a renewed energy and readiness for learning. It has been so lovely to see them all again and to catch up with their summer news.

 We have welcomed our new Reception children today, who have settled well and loved being in team Nidd. They all got a special sticker when they came for a visit to the leadership office!

  You will all be receiving a letter home tonight. This details how to access ‘Parent Hub’. Please sign up to this to ensure you are kept up to date with all communication. It’s a simple app you can download onto your phone.

 Most clubs should be back up and running in the next couple of weeks, once these have been finalised the details will be sent out on Parent Hub. You can then sign up and give consent via your Parentpay account. 

 Don’t forget in the mornings the gate is unlocked between 8:40-8:45am. Children can then go straight into their classroom where their class teacher will be waiting. A member of staff will remain on the gate to ensure the safety of the children.  Children who arrive after 9am will need to enter school via the main reception. 

We are changing our celebration assembly to Friday morning at 9:00am. Our first celebration assembly will be on Friday 13th September at 9:00am. We will continue to inform you if your child is receiving a certificate.
