Headteacher’s Message

Welcome to Camblesforth Community
Primary Academy

Welcome to Camblesforth Community Primary School!

It’s an absolute privilege to be the Headteacher of this incredible school. I am so proud of our dedicated staff, our amazing pupils, and the supportive community that makes our school such a special place. We are a family where everyone feels welcome and valued, a place where children are happy, feel safe, and are inspired to learn. We truly believe in celebrating achievement in every area, whether it’s in the classroom, on the playing field, or in our relationships with one another.

We have an exciting year ahead of us for 2025-2026, and I am filled with passion for what we will achieve together. We are launching our new Wellbeing Wednesdays, a day dedicated to nurturing our pupils’ mental and physical health. I am particularly excited that this will involve Forest School sessions, which will now run weekly for every single class! We are so lucky to be able to offer this incredible opportunity to all our children, and I can’t wait to see them thrive in the great outdoors.

We are a school that is deeply committed to our community, and we strive to make a genuine difference in the lives of every child and family. This commitment is reflected in our core values of excellence, belonging, opportunity, and respect. These values guide everything we do, helping our children to grow in confidence, resilience, and tolerance. I am incredibly proud of the restorative approach we take, which ensures every child has a voice and feels heard. Our exceptional staff are not only highly dedicated but also incredibly proud of our Outstanding Ofsted grading and our outstanding Early Years Reception team, who lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

As a school, we are always on an exciting journey, continuously looking for new opportunities to improve our environment and curriculum. We believe in working in close partnership with our parents and the wider community to give our pupils the best possible start.

Please take some time to explore our website to get a sense of our vibrant school life. The website is updated regularly with news and events, and we also have a Twitter (now known as X) feed which is a great way to see what the school is like on a day-to-day basis, with regular updates on all the exciting things we’re doing in our different classes. The best way to truly experience the spirit of our school is to come and visit us. We are incredibly proud to now welcome children from the age of two all the way to eleven. If your child is between these ages and you’d like to see the school in full motion, please feel free to contact us and book a visit.

Thank you for your interest in our school. I look forward to meeting you and showing you around.
