Volunteers

We greatly value our volunteer helpers who come into school to enhance provision for our children and help promote a better understanding between school and our local community. There are many ways for you to help.

Here are some key messages to understand if you are interested in coming on board.

Anyone working or volunteering in a school is now subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and, as such, you are required to complete this form to enable a determination to be made regarding your suitability for volunteering in school.

An up to date DBS will be required for every volunteer. School will apply for this on your behalf.  

The school will also require you to undertake some statutory training.
