School Partnerships

Camblesforth Community Primary Academy are very proud to be part of the Ebor Academy Trust.  Ebor Academy Trust is a teacher-led multi-academy trust operating from hubs in York, Selby, on the Yorkshire Coast, and in the East Riding and The Humber.  Please look at the link to find out more about our Trust:

We share our core values of Excellence, Belong, Opportunities and Respect with all Ebor Academy Trust schools and work together with all schools in our trust to share good practice and provide great opportunities for all our children to shine, regardless of prior attainment or social circumstances.  Our hub schools work very closely together with the belief that collaborative working achieves the best outcomes for our children.  As we move forward we will be finding as many opportunities for children to visit each other in the hub and work on projects together.

Community is very important to us and we have a ‘Hub’ in school where children, parents and community meet.  Our parent forums each half term also provides opportunities to work together to discuss key issues and get parents’ views and ideas to improve our school.  Please join us if you can as everyone’s views are important.  Find out when the next parent forums are on our calendar dates or under ‘Parents’ along the top menu of our website.

Our school takes part in the Selby schools cluster sports events and throughout the year we make sure that as many of our children take part in sports including:  hockey, football, cross country and athletics.  This is a great opportunity for our children to mix with other schools in our wider community.

Drax power station is very much part of our community with many of our parents working there.  Drax Power have visited our school and delivered workshops and we are planning to continue working with them using the Skylark Centre for forest schools and orienteering workshops as well as visiting Drax power station.  We are working with Drax on community links with more visits and support from them in school in the future too.

We also have termly visits from a member of Camblesforth Method Church who delivers assemblies and had our end of year celebration, including our Year 6 graduation, at Drax Church which was a big success.
