Year 4’s perform at Selby Abbey

Year 4 children had an incredible opportunity to visit Selby Abbey. They took part in a project run by Performing Arts which consisted of the children creating their own song all about Selby. The idea was to educate others on the history of our town. Through determination and collaboration, the team created an incredible song that they were proud of. 

The children were given the opportunity to perform their song as well as 5 other songs in Selby Abbey to their parents, joined by other schools from Selby. The children had a fantastic day and we are really proud of their commitment to rehearsing and the role models they were at the Abbey.
