Literacy

This week we are reading the story ‘Puss in Boots’. We will be sequencing the story and writing letters to the king. We are focusing on remembering our full stops to end a sentence.

Numeracy

In maths we are learning to use number lines to subtract numbers as well as finding balancing number sentences eg 3+2=4+1

Phonics

Our phonic sounds this week have been:

Year 1: phase 4 revision of all phase three sounds

Reception: We are practising to write words using all the initial sounds we have learnt so far focusing on d,g,o,c,k
