Nidd Class What’s Happening This Week Commencing 19th March 2018

Literacy

This week we are writing recounts of our trip to Stocksbridge and to Tropical world.  We will be looking at writing in the past tense.

Numeracy

In Reception maths we are learning to all about what makes 10 as well as continuing to practice one more and one less of numbers to 20.

In Year 1 we are going to be finding out about half and quarter of shapes.  We will also be doing lots of adding and subtracting with missing numbers using the part, part, whole method and bar model.
