Have A Great Half Term

Dear All,

Well, it has been quite a half term with so much going on.  We started the term with Young Voices then we had a ‘Maths Around the World’ evening, reading afternoons and mornings, Chinese New Year celebration, sporting events and many more events.  So, a well deserved rest for us all is definitely needed!

The children have been amazing and have made massive progress and we are very proud of them as I am sure you are.  They have worked so hard and are a great team, sharing ideas and solving problems together.

I hope you all have a lovely break and enjoy some family time.  School reopens on Monday 4th March then on Tuesday 5th March, as it is Shrove Tuesday, we will be having pancake races and pancake tasting in school from 2pm so I do hope you can make that event.  We have a staff training day on Friday 8th March and parents meetings the week after so a busy start to next half term.

We also will be saying ‘goodbye’ to Mrs Machin in the office at the end of the first week back.  Mrs Machin is moving to our Ebor central team which is a great opportunity for her.  Mrs Jackson will be taking over from Mrs Machin and you will see her during the first week back.  Mrs Machin has done a brilliant job and she will be missed but we know she will do an amazing job in our central team.

Enjoy the half term break and thank you for all your support with all that we are doing in school.

Many thanks,

Mrs Fletcher
